Abstract: Providing a quick introduction to the world of OpenSource and Standards. Provide suggestions where they come from, how they evolved and by showing up tendencies and side-effects, what the future might bring.
BIO: Svante is working on the Open Document Format. For twelve years he  worked for Sun Microsystems in the field of standardization, most recently as a freelance developer. Among other things, he was .. * Representatives from Sun / Oracle in DIN ISO SC34. * Responsible for collaboration in the browser-basedWebODF office suite. * Management of the Java API for ODF Toolkit ODFDOM * Management of the OpenOffice.org XML, responsible for the XML transformations * Developer of XHTML transformation for the ODF specification * Co-author on the ODF 1.2 Metadata specification of the Open Document Format * Representatives from Sun / Oracle in the W3C Compound Document Format |
